“Interior design, particularly kitchen design, is a major passion of mine, and after 16 years in the kitchen design industry, it remains a constant part of my everyday life. I spent 12 of those years as the South African creative and marketing director for premium surface brands such as Caesarstone and Neolith. From attending the world’s most respected kitchen and design fairs to experiencing endless design possibilities in person, my professional foundation lies in understanding the key aspects of designing a space that is both beautiful and functional. Comparing myself to the conductor of an orchestra, I can recognise when a harmony is out of sync or when the performance is not up to standard. My role as ‘conductor’ and managing director of Winelands Design Studio is to ensure that our designs—from proposal to execution—are nothing short of exceptional.”

“With a degree in interior design, a passion for beautiful spaces, and over 14 years of experience designing high-end kitchens, I have been privileged to work on wonderful projects, some of which have been featured in publications like House & Garden UK and VISI Magazine South Africa. Now, as design director at Winelands Design Studio, I draw on this history to create bespoke, contemporary spaces that remain true to the WDS client-centric ethos. I begin each project by scouting the key stylistic features already found in a client’s home. I then pair them with uncluttered functionality and sophistication, balancing timeless design with their individual needs. At the end of the day, as long as a space contributes to a client’s ultimate happiness, my job is done.”

And, after 5 years’ in the fashion industry, I have followed my passion into designing beautiful spaces. Perfectly aligned with the Winelands Design Studio style, I am drawn to classic and contemporary designs that are elegant, luxurious, and timeless. I love to apply attention to detail and thoughtful layering to add warmth and personality. Creating interiors is a very personal experience. It is a process that requires a deep understanding of how you live and interact with a space.
